On one side of the sword, two rows of characters are engraved with 8 characters near the hilt, meaning “Viet King Cau Tien has the effect of sword” so it is said to be inherent in the sword. owned by the Yue King Goujian (496 BC – 465 BC), was the king of a vassal state at the end of the Spring and Autumn period in Chinese history (now Shanghai, northern Zhejiang and southern Jiangsu).
