Man rescues mother dog and puppy on their way to slaughter

The dog meat trade still exists in Southeast Asian countries. Unbelievably, selling dogs to slaughterhouses for profit is a way of life for some people. Fortunately, some people are willing to assist in the rescue of innocent dogs.

Many people in this area consume dog and cat meat. As a result, selling these animals can provide a source of income for those who are willing to do so. There are no laws prohibiting the sale, consumption, or even the humane treatment of dogs and cats.

Although it is disgusting and shocking to us, it is a way of life that is heartbreaking to witness. Rescue workers do their best to save the animals by purchasing them before they are sold to slaughterhouses, but as you can imagine, this is difficult and many dogs and cats do not survive.

A rescue worker notices a woman riding her motorcycle with two dogs in a basket. The man manages to stop the woman and then attempts to persuade her to sell him the dogs.

She bargains hard because she knows he wants to save the dogs. Finally, she agrees, and we get our first glimpse of the horror the poor dogs are experiencing. It’s a mother and her puppy in a small basket, with their mouths taped shut and their feet taped together.

It’s difficult to imagine the cruelty when we live in a country where dogs are treated as members of the family. People are working hard to put an end to the dog meat trade, which is a huge challenge. They will have to fight to save dogs until they are no longer considered food.

Meanwhile, the man who rescued the dogs is gently releasing them from their shackles, but the mother dog appears to be in bad shape. She is unwilling to move and has been in pain. He’s doing everything he can to assist her and hopes she’s okay.

Sitting on the busy street, he gently treats her wounds and provides food and water to both dogs. People gather around; it appears that not everyone agrees with the practice and wishes the dogs well.

Finally, the mother dog stands up, and one can only hope that she will be okay, but she is terrified. Despite her ordeal, she is gentle and trusting of the stranger who is assisting her.

It’s finally time to pack the dogs and leave. The puppies are fortunate on this day and will hopefully find loving forever homes with people who will cherish them. Please help to raise awareness by sharing this with your friends.
