Being Lost For 3 Months, Dog Cries In Joy When His Dad Finally Finds Him

For three long months, Rustico Samson Jr. and his family lived a nightmare.

Coco, their beloved dog, had vanished from their Philippines home. And while they searched for him daily, Coco was nowhere to be found.

That already presents a bit of a challenge in finding him. Every dog roaming the streets is a mutt, so it’ll take some sharp eyes to spot Coco.

“I cried.” Samson told, “There was so much pain, so much suffering.” “Coco isn’t just a pet. He is a member of my family.”

Samson, on the other hand, never stopped looking as the months passed.

Every day that Coco was lost, Samson scoured the city for any sign of him.

“I looked around every corner,” he explained. “I even cried as I searched.”

Samson solicited the aid of friends and strangers, giving them a description of Coco and urging them to keep an eye out for her. And sure enough, that persistence paid off.

Three months after Coco disappeared, a stray dog matching his description was discovered in a parking garage, so Samson rushed to the spot.

Missing Dog Cries After Finally Being Reunited With His Dad

“I knew it was him right then, when I saw a dog laying on the floor of that parking garage,” Samson added. “I was a thousand times sure that it was Coco.”

“I was completely overwhelmed. I was overjoyed”, Samson remarked. “Coco, I believe, felt the same way at the time. He was sobbing like a baby, and you could hear him.”

Their hearts were suddenly healed.

The months that Coco lived on the streets as a stray had taken their toll. He was skinny and filthy, but otherwise in good condition. Fortunately, it was nothing the love of his family couldn’t heal.

Everything changed when Coco returned home.

“The house is filled with pleasant auras once more,” Samson observed. “The good feelings have returned.”

Samson would have never stopped looking for Coco. But thankfully, now his search is over.

“When it comes to having a pet, it doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, as long as you have heart and love to them like family,” he said. “When someone in your family is lost, you never give up.”
